Grace Counseling Inc.: Dr. Rachel Rowitt is a doctorate-level Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addictions Professional and Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor with years of experience in managing mental health and substance abuse programs and 16 years practicing psychology. She has been recognized for team building, mentoring, leadership skills and clinical skills. She is also an adjunct professor for Trinity International University. Dr. Rowitt practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and believes that therapy should be used as a resource for support through life transitions. Her solution focused approach helps her clients learn how to make changes that are long lasting. She is an expert in addiction recovery studying the effects of alcoholism and the facets of permanent recovery. Dr. Rowitt specializes in working with families of young adults who suffer from addiction and mental health issues. Her accumulated years of working closely with psychiatrists, in psychiatric and addiction hospital settings and continued growth and education give her an unmerited knowledge, ability and wealth of resources.
